The problem of spreading problems

I get upset about certain news I see on TV, newspapers or social networks. Cases of violence of all kinds. The more I see, the more I get upset. Is this the goal of seeing so many problems? Let us be angry to the point of deciding bloodily all the ills? In a way, I am upset by this doubt as well.

Let's do a brief reasoning: these violent problems that we see are not new to the human being. In fact, there is nothing new here. The detail is in the way we receive the information. There is a pre-trial of any violent case. Reactions, for the most part, are channeled with the intention that the news will last long enough for justice to be done, legally or otherwise. Without wishing to enter into the merits of Tupiniquim jurisprudence, regardless of whether it is applied or not, the fact that we desire justice makes us somewhat judges, even though we may have a long running record of personal crimes.

How to identify the problem of the problem?

I have given a lot of thought to this in a more comprehensive way, which contemplates not only violence, but also our other problems (corruption, vanity, prejudice). The root is in our morality or what constitutes it. We Brazilians do not have moral rules that are absolute parameters to follow some type of ethics. I do not see anyone being ethical from the point of view one would expect from a Brazilian. A Brazilian, for others who are not, is a cheerful, hardworking, "good people", and especially adaptable. A Brazilian acquaints himself very quickly with any culture, which seems to be remarkable (because it is culturally plural) and which in fact proclaims that we do not value something that is ours by origin, simply because we do not have this "ours." We continue with colonizable status, we could not colonize anywhere. In our identity, there are missing numbers.

Do we have to go that far? I think so. Better late than never. We are being more cruel than anyone who condemns an innocent to death, that is, we are doing it legally. Our lack of criteria and our emotions in our reactions are making victims. We are evolutionarily stationed, and when we take a step, we do it without thinking, we just feel that we must walk. Or rather, run. Whatever the direction.

I've heard a lot of ideas (and I believed them for a while) about how to solve our problems: that a war that would devastate everything, that a totalitarianism would decimate the discontented, that we would return to being a colony (this time from Switzerland), that ETs would give us wisdom without that we needed to seek knowledge, that we simply create other small countries geographically similar to those of the first world, that Lula and FHC would return together, that the Pope and the World Cup be ours. There is everything, but little is done.

Anyway, I conclude that we are inert with what truly works, and we take the initiative with what moves our brio. Recognizing this difficulty is already a beginning. One less problem.
